Diane must hit the road with swarthy Guy the cameraman on assignment for Girl Croosh. However, she begins to doubt the group when they order her to focus on more frothy fare. Todd plans to throw a surprise wedding bash for Pickles and Mr. Peanutbutter. Things soon go awry when Mr. Peanutbutter divulges a dark secret. Dr. Champ encourages BoJack to take the next step. Mr. Peanutbutter's reputation suffers. Meanwhile, Diane contends with writer's block on assignment in Chicago. A group of Hollywood assistants protests against their employers. Meanwhile, the tables have turned when BoJack must help Dr. Champ. Later, Todd's mother must receive a kidney transplant as Diane cooks up a new scheme. BoJack tours the country to make amends with his estranged family. Meanwhile, Mr. Peanutbutter takes a tour of his own but for more woeful reasons. A journalist begins prying into Sarah Lynn's death. Meanwhile, Hollyhock attends a hip party in New York City.
