Clerks premiered on ABC on May 31, 2000. The series was created by Kevin Smith, creator of the interestingly quirky film of the same name. This animated series follows the daily ritual of boredom and sarcasm of Dante, who is the cashier at a New Jersey convenience store, and Randal, his pal friend who works next door at the video store. They make fun of their customers and manage to find unusual ways to get themselves into trouble. The series was cancelled by the network after only two of its six episodes aired.
