There is Paula Small, the single mother of two young kids; Brendon Small, her precocious eight-year-old son; and the baby Josie, a smiling, gurgling, pre-tot with glasses. Also part of the show are Brendon's friend Melissa, the soccer coach McGuirk and assorted kids, teachers and baby sitters. The series moved to Cartoon Network for its second season.
